Joseph DeLappe: Online Seminar @ ViZ Laboratory for Visual Culture

On 6, 7, 8, 9 July 2020 Joseph DeLappe offered an online workshop to the students of the Athens School of Fine Arts, to complete his contribution to the Public Hazards program, conducted by ViZ Laboratory for Visual Culture. This online seminar was an inspiring and abundant journey through recent political conflicts, war-zones, resistances, activism, gaming, public engagement and dilemmas. It focused on a lineage of projects at the intersections of computer gaming, art/technology, real world and online interventionist strategies engaging our geo-political contexts. The workshop culminated with a collective reaction to aspects of the Covid crisis with the use of paper-crafted masks.
