The Heart & Sword Division lays out the fundamental ideas around Waiting for the Barbarians, a flash iteration of the Athens Biennale designed to coincide with the opening of Documenta 14 in Athens. The curators introduce themselves as the “barbarians” performing as neo-traditionalist monsters. A member of the audience asks “what do you thin about the relation between art and professionalism”. I take a step forward and answer: “there is no relationship between art and professionalism”.
